AFF raises funds for tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. We enable donors, Brokers and their clients to liquidate their yachts, cars, and aircraft via a BSC donation. The use of the donation vehicle results in a financial benefit to all parties involved, donors, brokers, and the charity. These benefits to the donor may approximate or exceed the proceeds derived from a market sale.
Utilizing the methodology of qualifying the donation under the current IRS guidelines by making material improvements to the vehicle, the benefits are immediate to a donor. The vehicle can then be re-listed, usually with the referring broker and transfer of title can take place within a short time of the completion of these improvements. Donors receive a tax credit and often Bargain Sale Cash directly from AFF to achieve an acceptable total return of the combination of cash and tax credit. Brokers receive two commissions paid directly by AFF with no impact on the return to their clients. Everyone benefits and the charity receives its needed funding to sustain its operation and charitable endeavors. At American Foundation Funding we take a personal interest in all donations. We recognize the opportunity given to us to provide the greatest possible yield to each and every donor, while simultaneously providing much needed funding for the education of children.
Upon satisfactory inspection, the property is accepted as is. The paperwork and insurance can usually be accomplished in a weeks time. At that point it is our reponsibility to arrange for transportation and storage.
Once the vehicle proposal has been accepted, an inpection of the car/boat/plane is arranged .
